Chatting with Bill Lynda on WRAL
one of these day vans shoes s i will make it to aldi! you inspired me this morning, faye!
other fresh produce deals ALWAYS vans shoes check the bagged s vans shoes alad when you’re in the store. for about the 10th time last night, i ran into reduced bags of salad. i got 4 bags of italian salad for 69 cents each. (this was lowe’s foods at hwys 42/50.)
also, ALWAYS check the reduced shelves. i frequently get just a few potatoes marked down (we don’t use potatoes in very many recipes, maybe 3 or 4 times a year?), apples, or last night i got a pack of 5 cucumbers for 69 cents. i plan to eat these with my cucumber dill cream cheese from bruegger’s (only a summer offering).
also, if you like ripe bananas, or have a propensity for banan vans shoes a bread, check the ripe bananas bags.
of course you always have to check these versus the regular or sale price to make sure you’re actually getting a good deal.
I have only shopped at Aldi twice when I was working in North Raleigh. BUT I found a even better place to get produce. Its at the little hispanic flea market on Capital Blvd. They have the same produce as in groc stores for unreal prices. Yesterday I got 2 baby watermelons, 10 limes, 4 mangos, 3 jichama, 3 brocoli, 2 strawberries, 1 lb of mushrooms, about 30 roma tomatoes, celery, 3 garlics, 3 green peppers any only paid $16!! I think they are only there on the weekends. And I’ll tell you a little secret. I use to work part time at the regualr Farmers market and 90% of their produce is NOT grown locally its from florida, georgia, mexico ect even though they tell you other wise.
