Charges Pending Against Former Drug Task Force Head
JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) Theft charges are pending for the former director of a West Tennessee drug task force and his secretary. A charge against his son has been settled with a probationary sentence.The Jackson Sun reported Michael Lee was given a deferred probation of 11 months and 29 days.Lee father, Steve Lee, was indicted in January on charges of theft, official misconduct and knowingly giving a false statement to an auditor. Steve Lee is the former director of the 24th Judi vans shoes cial District drug task force. Former secretary Leona Longworth was also indicted.
